Reiki baby, Reiki father and Reiki mom, Pregnancy through Reiki Healing and Distance Attunement

father and baby

The role of a husband in childbirth has altered significantly since the days when they restlessly moved about in the hospital waiting room, eagerly waiting for the announcement the doctor regarding the birth of the baby.

At present, numerous men are drawn in from the time the pregnancy test emerges positive, getting involved in prenatal appointments, childbirth classes, and following the birth being associated with father-baby groups.

Here are some suggestions on how a father can play the supporting role during the pregnancy.

  1. 1.      Nurture Your Wife and Pay attention
  2. ·          Ask for help and delegate duties to relatives, neighbors, and friends.
  3. ·          Ask them to get attuned to reiki and explain them the healing powers of reiki.
  4. ·          More often than not, someone will ask you if you need help.
  5. ·          When they do, say YES and give them a list of things to choose from like pre-cooking meals, tidying up the house, buying groceries, or washing laundry.
  6. ·          You can support her by sharing these life style changes.
  7. ·          Learn to do the 12 self healing reiki hand positions on yourself and on her together
  8. ·          Give up alcohol, drink more fluids, cut down or cut out alcohol yourself.
  9. ·          Don't smoke in the house or if possible quit smoking.
  10. ·          Use this time to start creating a support team for both you and your wife.
  11. ·          Because after the baby is born you're going to need lots of help.
  12. ·          By then your support team will already know what your needs are and what to do.
  13. ·          It also enables them to attain ideas and methods to assist their wives or partners during the delivery.
  14. ·          If a husband is still apprehensive about his role, a birth assistant, or doula, can be of immense assistance all through  labour  by not only providing the necessary guidance to the partner but also helping the husband to calm down and contributing positively to the process.

2. Build a Support Team and learn to support your wife

  1. Learn to listen to her specially when she is pregnant
  2. tell her some nice things you like about her
  3. always be ready to accept her bad moods
  4. tell her how much you miss her when she is not at home

3.     Be a Friendly husband

  1. ·          Visit the doctor for prenatal care appointment together.
  2. ·          Don't miss the chance to get a glimpse of your baby during an ultrasound and don’t forget to send some reiki.
  3. ·          When you accompany your wife to the doctor's office ask questions and engage yourself in conversations with the doctor, the staff, and childbirth instructors.
  4. ·          Use this time to visit the birth center and familiarize yourself with the floor plan and become acquainted with the nursing staff.
  5. ·          Remember the doctor and nurses are the people who you will be counting on during the delivery. So it will be a good thing to establish a friendly relationship with them.
  6. ·          This will also send a comforting message to your wife that you are looking out for her and the baby.

    4. Network with Other Dads

  1. ·          A great place to meet and network with other dads is during prenatal classes.
  2. ·          Some hospitals offer a program for dads. If they do, get involved.
  3. ·          If one is not available, suggest that the hospital start one.
  4. ·          Attending childbirth classes are quite helpful for husbands as it gives them an opportunity to feel more positive after discovering what to anticipate all through  labour  as well as childbirth.

5.     Be prepared for labour

  1. ·          Attend the prenatal classes.
  2. ·          Practice breathing with her so that you could help her with  labour .
  3. ·          Be ready to embrace her, hold her hands, and soothe her.
  4. ·          Exchange reiki healing with your wife if she is a reiki master.
  5. ·          If you're up for it, ask your doctor if you can "catch" the baby, that is, support him as he emerges from the birth canal and cut the umbilical cord.

6.     Love her changing body

  1. ·          Your wife may feel unattractive; understand that your wife is going through a lot of hormonal changes.
  2. ·          Tell her that she has become more beautiful since she is pregnant.
  3. ·          Women the moment they get pregnant they become more attractive and beautiful.
  4. ·          Support her, love her changing body.
  5. ·          Express to her that she even looks nicer because she is pregnant.

7.     Express your love and Comfort her

  1. ·          Every day, tell your wife that you love her.
  2. ·          Keep making her feel special.
  3. ·          Touch is also very important so give lots of hugs and kisses.
  4. ·          Listening to your wife makes her think that she is important and that you are interested in what she has to say.
  5. ·          Make your wife feel safe by comforting her when she is scared.
  6. ·          Reassure her that you will always protect her.
  7. ·          Keep schedule of the meals, naps and bedtime.

8. Attending the child birth

  1. ·          Some men are at ease with a great deal of involvement while some do not feel comfortable.
  2. ·          However, the prospect of being present during  labour  and delivery is not a source of enjoyment for all, but it is of great comfort to the wife.
  3. ·          Seeing your child born is one of the greatest moments of life that makes every man a happy father.
  4. ·          It is also imperative for a husband to know the facilities that are available at the hospital where the delivery of the child is scheduled.
  5. ·          The husband should take into account the facilities on offer, and ensure that he can be present during  labour , birth, and in the period following the birth of the baby.
  6. ·          While the majority of hospitals are modern enough to cater to the requirements of husbands during  labour  and childbirth some have restrictions regarding who can be in attendance all through a c-section or during other periods.

Pregnancy is seen as mostly as mom thing. In recent years, more attention has been given to the paternal contribution in pregnancy. A husband can participate too by listening to the baby's first heart beat, teaching and reading to the baby during pregnancy.

"Dear PAM, Thank you very much for the attunement. I would like to add that I have been attuned by three Masters before in the traditional manner, but your attunement felt the most intense. In fact, even as I type this, I can feel the energy on my crown Chakra, 7 hours later! In fact it has not really left me all day!" Thank you, and God Bless.KAMALA."

Dear Pam, I really wanted to help the sick all my life; I knew it was somehow going to be my destiny, to be able to help others in need. I may want to teach in the future, but for now, you have made my dream come true ... I just want to say "Thank you!" Now I am a Reiki Master Teacher. FABRINA

Dear master PAM, I have been practicing Reiki (Level I) for about 9 years and just last week I was attuned to the other levels by you and Master Premila. It was quite an intense week! I physically and emotionally felt the Energy you were sending. On one specific occasion, I awoke and found my hands vibrating." LEILA

I can feel the energy flowing through my body, and my energy channels opening to accept the reiki attunement. It is the most amazing sensation. My husband said my palms were hot and he could feel a tingling sensation from my hand." - PASCALLE

"My whole life has changed for the better after receiving Attunement from Master Pam and Master Premila. Since then I have given Distance Reiki to friends who were pregnant and they have felt a tremendous difference in their lives too." - JENIFER
