FERTILITY AND REIKI

What is a Reiki treatment like? A Reiki treatment is a simple but powerful process. The healing energy is channelled by the
Reiki practitioner and goes to the places in the body where healing is most needed. It is important to
realize that these healing energies go to the source of the problem and not just the
symptoms. Reiki treatments do not have negative side effects; it is a completely safe and natural way of
treating disease.
Recently a client asked me if I
knew of any instances where Reiki had helped infertility. I answered as a matter of fact I do know of one
case. I had a student in my class last March who had undergone treatment for infertility taking medications
without positive results. She had nearly given up on the idea of having a child. During her Reiki I and II
weekend she remarked to the others in the class that she had felt something 'pop' in her lower abdomen.
Approximately 6 weeks after the class I received a phone call from her that she had become pregnant after she
returned from her Reiki training. She delivered a healthy reiki baby last November.
In another situation I had a client
who was four months pregnant when she decided to take a Reiki I workshop. During her attunement, she experienced
the baby responding to the energy flow. As her pregnancy progressed she gave herself daily reiki treatments.
After the child birth he was nicknamed the 'Reiki Baby', as he was so relaxed and contented. Jenny says that on
many occasions it appears that John reaches out to exchange Reiki energy with her and others. She has also used
Reiki to help him through teething, childhood falls, and illnesses.
Another Reiki client of mine
heard about the positive benefits of having a 'Reiki Baby' and decided to take a Reiki I and II Attunement after
she found out she was pregnant. The week of the class, Nalini was told that she was carrying twins. After
becoming a Reiki Practitioner, Nalini gave her 'boys' a Reiki treatment every day. She was able to carry the
twins almost to full term and reports that they are easy to care for, whenever they are fussy she gives them
Reiki and they calm down.
I realize that there is no
controlled scientific study in these cases; however there is certainly evidence that the use of Reiki before,
during, and after pregnancy has positive results both for the mother and baby. My niece, Anju (who is a Reiki
TWO student), and I have talked about her future pregnancies. She will be receiving a Reiki attunement during
her pregnancy and will use Reiki daily during pregnancy for the health and contentment of her baby and
herself.

Reiki and
energy
Everything in our universe is
made up entirely of energy. Einstein formulated this knowledge in his well known equation E=mc2 (Energy=mass
times speed of light squared). Light is energy, our emotions are energy, our thoughts are energy, and even our
physical bodies and the physical world surrounding us are energy. When we keep that in mind it will be easier to
understand how the healing energy of Reiki works.
·
Our body is not only
the physical body that we observe; we are made of energy and the physical body is the part of us that we can see.
·
We are not a physical
body that also has an energy field around and inside it; we are beings of energy, with energy fields that we
normally can not see, and a physical body (a dense form of energy) as a part of the whole body.
·
The energy that we
obtain through eating, drinking and breathing, we also obtain energy through OUR energy fields. This energy is very
important for our body, without it our physical body would not be able to exist.
·
Knowing that our body
is made up of energy fields, with the physical body as one of these, we can explore the origin of disease.
·
What we experience as
diseases (mental, emotional, and physical) are the manifestations of imbalances in our body.
·
The source of the
problem can often be found in imbalances in our energy fields.
Imbalances in the body is one of
the many causes of infertility
What can cause these
imbalances?
·
Our thoughts, emotions
and attitudes play an important role in the fitness of our body.
·
Thoughts and emotions
are energies, and when we have pessimistic and negative thoughts we create imbalances in our body. We often repress
many of our thoughts and emotions because it is often taught to us in our society.
·
We have been taught
that we should not show certain emotions, or that we should feel guilty of certain feelings.
·
By not expressing these
thoughts, emotions and feelings we build blockages in our energy system, which can result in a disturbed flow of
energies through our body.
·
Other causes of
imbalances in our body can be found in our environment. Nowadays we are surrounded by electronic devices which
generate electro magnetic fields (EMF) that can negatively affect our bodies.
·
Scientific research has
shown in many cases that exposure to EMF´s can cause disease.
·
Other factors in our
environment which can negatively affect our energy system can be micro-waves, x-rays, radioactive radiation, radio
waves, mobile telephones, and television and computer screens.
Reiki works on the energetic
level.
·
Most healing methods
nowadays work only on the physical level, but Reiki works on the physical, emotional and spiritual levels.
·
Our body is a complex
system with different levels interacting with each other. If a treatment is done that only works on one level, the
healing is not complete.
·
True healing must be
done at all levels, and that is what Reiki does.
·
If healing is only done
on the physical level temporary results can be obtained, but the underlying cause is not treated.
·
Reiki balances on all
levels where our energy flows are blocked. It helps to release underlying thoughts and emotions that caused the
disease, and it heals the physical symptoms of the disease.
The Emotional Effects of
Stress
Child molesting, violence in
childhood, rape, poverty, parent’s separation, divorce, drugs, alcoholism, repeated abortions, and home
environment are the many reasons for infertility.
Only with a REIKI ATTUNEMENT
infertility has a 85% chance of being corrected.

·
When a person finds themselves in a circumstance
which they feel is beyond their control and with seemingly no resolve, they will often subconsciously transfer
their feelings to the physical, as its form of expression.
·
Creating tension and irritability which is very
often manifested as disease and illness as ways of dealing with emotions that cannot be expressed.
·
A common example here is headache, and a common
cause of headache is the feeling of hopelessness that results from being locked into a particular role or
circumstance.
·
Of course, the more organic causes of headache
could include eyestrain, constipation or neck problems and these areas would need to be investigated too.
·
However, no amount of physical therapy will solve
the problem if there is a strong emotional "cause" behind it.
·
A further example of the way that we use disease
would be stomach aches in children.
·
This can be a very effective means of gaining
parental attention by a child who feels that a new member of the family is getting more than their fair share of
attention.
·
Skin problems usually have an identifiable
emotional basis. An irritating skin complaint can often be the result of irritating life circumstances or an
irritating person that one would rather not be involved with. It might be irritation with one's
job.
·
There is no hard and fast rule of "one stress,
one disease".
·
If
such stresses are not dealt within the right way at the emotional level, they will most likely manifest as an
irritating rash or similar condition until the problem is resolved.
·
Another example is constipation. If chronic cases
do not respond to the physical priorities of more water and fiber in diet, the cause may be retention in the mind
for example holding on tenaciously to old ideas or relationships that no longer serve our best interests.
·
These mental retentions can manifest as the
physical retention of rubbish that we would best be well rid of.
·
Do note at this point that a seemingly identical
emotional problem may manifest as a particular physical disease in one person and yet as a completely different
disease in another person.
Stress,
depression, unhappiness are also causes of infertility both in male and female
